Steelers’ Antonio Brown breaks leg during TD catch
By PEDRO MARIANO | USA TODAY Steelers quarterback Antonio Brown broke his left leg and broke a bone in his left knee during a TD catch, the team announced Wednesday.
Brown’s injury is the latest injury to hurt the Steelers.
They lost their first game of the season and are currently tied for the second-worst record in the NFL.
They are 1-5 after Sunday’s loss to the Patriots, a loss that cost them the divisional round series against New England.
Brown has missed 11 games this season with a hamstring injury.
He missed the first 11 games of the 2014 season after suffering a torn meniscus in his right knee.
He tore it during the first game last season, and missed the entire 2012 season after tearing his ACL during a playoff game.
Brown is one of just three active players with four or more ACL tears in a season.
